Ranch Administrator – LTC. Gary Lynde (Ret), M.A.

Gary G. Lynde, Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army (Retired) has had numerous command and staff assignments in both Infantry and Aviation branches.   Since retiring from the U. S. Army, he has worked as the acting Dean of Continuing Education at Central Washington University and as the business manager for an electronics company.  Gary has a Master's degree in psychology.  After climbing the military/corporate ladder for many years, Gary felt it was time to “give back” and was delighted to find an opportunity at PATCH.  Gary and his wife Carol have three children and four grandchildren.

Treatment Coordinator – Colleen Donald M.A.

"God has me in the perfect place right now in life. I have worked at PATCH since 1999 after growing up in Iowa and spending enough time in South Dakota to meet my husband. My background and Master's is in school counseling. I worked for several years in both public and Tribal schools but wanted to be more involved in helping students at risk. I saw too many kids who needed someone to reach out and give them more time, guidance, and love. As Treatment Coordinator at Project PATCH, I hope to increase both my and the PATCH team's effectiveness in giving hope to children whose hope was taken away from them in life, for one reason or another."

Boys’ Dorm Director – Mike Van Dyk

Mike considers it a privilege to work for God at the Project PATCH Ranch. He spends many hours laughing and, at times, crying with young people and staff as they work together through complex issues. Today he sees his role as helping build lives for Christ.  At 57, Mike sees no retirement ahead.  “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”  Mike enjoys being a husband to wife, Marge, a father to three and grandfather to five.

Girls’ Dorm Director – Marge Van Dyk

Marge joined the PATCH staff in 1995. She was previously employed at Bear Creek Corporation (Harry and David, Jackson & Perkins) in Medford, Oregon, as a Line Supervisor. Marge and her husband, Mike, have been married for 35 years; have two sons, one daughter and five grandchildren. When not spending time with the girls at PATCH, Marge enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, gardening and time with her grandkids.  She has found one of the most rewarding experiences with the girls is to simply spend time listening.
