This year our project will be Wednesday, May 22nd – Friday, June 7th. We are celebrating 40 years of ministry in 2024, and Maranatha Volunteers has been a partner since building our campus in the early 1990s. Volunteers have touched every building on our campus, and the capstone was the Maranatha Volunteers International Chapel, which was built and dedicated in 2005.
We are wanting to focus on the following project during the 2024 project.
1. Girls’ Dorm flooring
We are replacing the carpeting in the girls’ dorm with laminate flooring. The carpet in the girls’ dorm is worn, stained, and needs to be replaced. Transitioning to laminate flooring will make the dorm easier to keep clean and improve the aesthetics.
2. Exterior work on Staff Housing Rental Units
We have two duplexes, a triplex, and two doublewide trailers that need painted and soffits repair. Several units need porch and deck repair as well.
3. Shop Repair
The maintenance shop awning and roof needs structural repair and patching.
Individuals can volunteer for any length of time during the two-week work period, and all adults are welcome to volunteer. Each volunteer must register through the link below to be eligible to help out with this project.
