Life Ready Kids

The original Life Ready Kids seminar series provides a road map to help parents and children (ages 11+)  learn how to “own” technology rather than becoming slaves to technology.

This series is designed for parents and kids to watch together.  Instead of focusing on fear, this series focuses on steps to take to live productive and impactful lives in a world of technology.

This seminar is available with Chuck presenting in person or as a recording/study guide.

LIFE READY KIDS: TOUGH TOPICS

This new series is for kids ages 8-12. With special guest Brenda Walsh of Kids Club for Jesus, it covers topics such as anger, jealousy, loneliness, sadness, bad habits, and more.

Our Kids Need Our Help!

93% of young men under age 18 have seen porn(Link).  The average age of first exposure for boys and girls is between 8-11 years old.  Kids are curious, and 60% of students reported they watch porn to learn more about sex and to fill the gaps in their sexual education(Link).

Our kids don’t need porn…they need you!

Nine percent of video game players are pathologically or clinically addicted.  That means they can’t quit even if they wanted. 40% of online video game players admit to playing to escape from the real world. Average players play about 20 hours a week, with extreme players averaging over 50(Link). Over 3% of young adults have lost or jeopardized a relationship, job, or educational opportunity as a direct result of their internet video gaming(Link).

They don’t need more game time…they need more parent time!

95% of teens have access to a smartphone, and 45% say that they are online ‘almost constantly.’ 13-14 year-olds who spend ten or more hours a week on social media are 56% more likely to say they are unhappy than those who spend less time using social media.  Rates of depression, anxiety, and loneliness have been shown to increase as screen time increases(Link).

Our kids don’t need more time online…they need more quality time with you!
Seminar Topics Include:

Twelve 30-minute episodes on a USB drive.  Watch on your TV or computer and then use the study guides to continue learning, discuss critical principles, and take the next step.
