Trina Omorefe is the Admissions Director for Project Patch. She previously served as a treatment therapist at Project Patch for five years. She earned a bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Social Work. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker.
Her previous work experience includes community mental health work with children as well as experience in medical Social Work at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Pediatric floors.
Trina also has some international experience working with at-risk children who have been victims of child trafficking in Ghana, West Africa. This is where she met her husband, Od, who is also a staff member at Project Patch.
Trina enjoys working with all clients and helping them through personal, family, and life struggles. She especially has a heart for working with clients struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder and trauma. She likes helping clients discover new ways to cope, emotionally regulate, and heal psychologically.
Trina also enjoys building connections with the clients through playing soccer, a card game, or baking something delicious to share. Outside of work, Trina enjoys spending time with her family and being active in her church.
